Managing Estrogen Dominace - Metabolising Estrogens (DIM)
"Estrogen metabolizes in two different pathways in the liver, resulting in, good and bad estrogen. Good estrogen has many benefits. Bad estrogen, in large quantities, can result in many health issues including ovarian, uterine and breast cancer. Research has suggested that DIM (diindolylmethane) a powerful nutrient that is found in broccoli, cauliflower etc and other vegetables, can protect against breast cancer by increasing the ratio of good estrogen metabolites to bad estrogen metabolites. Jillian takes two teaspons per day of Broccoli Sprout Powder, one sprinkled on her salad lunch and another on her dinner veggies with some organic quark - YUM! She also adds it  to her morning veggie juice with her usual 'greens' barleygrass/chlorella).
