Super Sprout is a wholly owned and operated Australian company which produces 100% pure fruit and vegetable powders. Our factory is based in Victoria and we are proud to say that all produce used in our 100% pure powders are locally grown here in Australia. The majority of our range is Australian Certified Organic.

The company’s philosophies are based on a balance of 3 key principles.

Super Sprout powders are manufactured in an environmentally responsible way producing products that are sustainable, clean and safe. We respect the environment. We have adapted a state-of-the-art growing system (link) which does not use arable land and only needing 5% of water commonly used to irrigate similar crops. We only produce pure products.

 

Thirdly, we wish to reward team members and business alliances who uphold and deliver this product in a similar manner to our own. The long term view is that everyone will benefit from the success of Super Sprout powders.

CEO Melinda Richards directs a national team of people who drive the business from head office located in Queensland.

 

Melinda was first introduced to business early 2009 by her father, Colin, who discovered the amazing health benefits of broccoli sprouts and wheatgrass Spouts.

 

Melinda has always had a passion about leading and living a healthy lifestyle which as always included exercise and good food. She has been very particular about what foods she chooses to provide the right balance of goodness to keep her feeling fit, energised and happy.

 

Understanding the health potential that like minded people could gain from extending this range to include Beetroot, Blueberry and other super foods, (which now include a 10 product range and increasing) coupled with Melinda’s extensive corporate business background she knew she had to turn her attention to bringing this unique production and product to market.

 

“Simply put, our products are whole foods in the form of powders”, Melinda explains. “It is just a different way to think about food. The powders will never fully replace fresh fruit and vegetables, but they are a fantastic addition to your favourite recipe giving it a real boost in nutritional value”.

 

“Once I saw how Dad was developing these powders, I did some investigating and no other product compared.”

Melinda also explains another reason for Super Sprout’s continued success which is the ‘no blending’ policy.

 

“One strategy we uphold is the fact that we don’t blend our powders therefore consumers as well as Naturopaths and health healers can choose which powder best suits their needs or their client’s needs rather than a ‘one product fits all’ blended powder approach.”

 

Melinda is not only realising her success but eating it too.
